Neuber Soares,

well known by fans for “defending” Cruzeiro on the original stand of the

Alterosa Sport.

He also worked for the newsroom of the now-defunct newspaper Dirio da Tarde as a reporter for the editorship Polcia, in addition to being a sports commentator on DT itself and on TV Record. The cause of death was not disclosed. The announcement of the death was made through Neuber’s official Instagram profile.

Neuber was Cruzeiro’s representative on the bench of Alterosa Esporte in the golden age of sports programs in Minas. In the late 1990s, with good humor and a hint of sarcasm, Neuber countered the attacks of the American Otvio di Toledo and the athlete Dad Maravilha, a former Rooster player.
