The Jonquière hospital emergency expansion and redevelopment project is particularly close to my heart and I am very proud that our government is authorizing the design phase, said Andrée Laforest. At the end of April, the users’ committee of the Jonquière hospital asked the Legault government to speed up the reconstruction project for the emergency room at the hospital center.
Also at the beginning of June, Minister Dubé and Prime Minister François Legault had discussed together the modernization and expansion of certain hospitals in Quebec, including that of Chicoutimi.
