The epilogue is excellent in Snyder Cut. It was created last year and director Zack Snyder directed the actor through Zoom.

Most of the fans who couldn’t wait for Snyder’s version of the Justice League comic book have probably seen the film. We reviewed the image (click sem) and we also compared the 10 biggest differences between the old and the new version (click sem). The biggest difference in the film is its epilogue, which is missing in the original version.
These were additional scenes that Zack Snyder shot last year as part of the finish line to complete his original vision. In the epilogue, we move into the post-apocalyptic future, where we see Batman (Ben Affleck), Flash (Ezra Miller), Cyborg (Ray Fisher), Meru (Amber Heard), Deathstok (Joe Manganiello) and Joker (Jared Leto).
They are hiding from someone and the spectators quickly realize that it is not Steppenwolf or Darkseid. They hide from Superman, who for some reason joined the side of the negatives (about that again).
Most of the scene is a conversation between Batman and the Joker. Within DCEU (films from the enlarged DC world: Man of Steel, Batman vs. Superman, Suicide Squad, Justice League, Aquaman, Wonder Woman, Shazam! …) this is their first interview and a real meeting. The film itself will tell you what they are talking about, but we were especially pleased with the processing of the Joker.
Jared Leto approached the character in a completely different way. His Joker is a significantly better character in Snyder Cut than in Suicide Squad. He doesn’t speak in such an annoying style, he has intelligent and thoughtful replicas, he knows how to get under Batman’s skin, but he still retains his “madness”.

Those few minutes with him were better than all his scenes in Suicide Squad. That’s why we would like him to get another chance (which we have been promoting in the articles for years). Perhaps the quality and audience feedback or those from the reviews at Snyder Cut are something in the future plans of the Warner Bros. studio. will change and we will see Joker’s film by Jared Leto.
The “dream” postapo sequence is also the only scene that Zack Snyder filmed after the announcement of Snyder Cut’s preparations. In an interview with Insider we learned that Snyder always wanted Affleck Batman and Leta’s Joker to meet in one scene, but during the filming of the Justice League, he couldn’t figure out a suitable way to do it. For Snyder Cut, however, he found it and we have to say that it works great.

According to Zack’s wife and Deborah producer, Zack Snyder has been trying to convince Jared Leto to shoot new scenes for several years. He had been talking to him since the premiere of Suicide Squad. Leto did not want to repeat the role of Joker at first, but eventually agreed. It took only 3 days to shoot the new scenes.
However, due to the pandemic, not all the actors could be together. Jared Leto and Ben Affleck never faced each other on the field. You may notice that they are still turning their backs on each other. In reality, only Amber Heard, Ben Affleck, Joe Manganiello and Ray Fischer were on set together. Ezra Miller was filming Fantastic Animals 3 in London at the time, so Snyder directed it through Zoom.
