The fashion house was founded in 1968 in Hamburg, Germany, by designer Jil Sander. Since then, the brand has become known for its innovative approach to stylish everyday fashion, made of high-quality textiles in neutral tones. In 2017, the married couple Luke and Lucy Meyer were appointed to the position of creative directors, after gaining experience at the prestigious fashion houses Louis Vuitton, Dior and Balenciaga. Today the fashion house operates from the main headquarters in Milan.
The men’s collection for the fall season 2023 was designed in the spirit of couture mixed with sporty style. The aesthetic translation of the designer pair’s approach is presented through current casual items that are suitable for everyday wear and present a level of meticulous craftsmanship that characterizes super brands.
In the collection that is now arriving at Factory 54, it will be possible to find the most sought-after models of the fashion house, including black and white leather sneakers, alongside the timeless t-shirts on which the logo is emblazoned – offered this season in white with black writing or in black with white writing combined with contrasting words in yellow . These models set the leading tone for the rest of the collection, which focuses on a palette of shades of black and cream with touches of stone and raw denim.
The quiet luxury continues with relaxed silhouettes in airy cuts of jogging pants and sweatshirts made of fine textiles, buttoned tops, knitwear, strict jeans next to more elegant pants, and towards the winter, parka or down jackets will also arrive.
