When Anička Škarda from Frýdlant learned that she would be making a headband for Beyoncé, she was crying with happiness. The young jeweler has already had more success.
The production of such a crown is a matter of hours, days at most. But it takes much longer to invent the design itself. “He suggests Anička and we are talking together what it will look like in the final,” explained her husband Vlado Škarda. When creating the headdress for the famous singer, they were inspired by her clips and photos.
In the beginning there were rosaries
Jewelry enchanted Anička Škarda as a child. But there were rosaries at the very beginning. “My parents, when I was little, started making rosaries by hand, so they went to Jablonec nad Nisou to various family companies,” the jeweler explained.
She finally graduated from high school in Jablonec. She still returns to the same companies where her parents led her for the material.
Specifically on the headband for Beyoncé are jewelry components, plastic components, artificial flowers and glass pearls. So it is far more complicated than the headband that the singer originally ordered. The jeweler chose the same strategy when ordering Khloé Kardashianová.
