It looks like Czech police officers won’t be the only ones enjoying new cars this year, and they’ll be joined by their Italian counterparts. Unlike the BMWs that the Czechs will drive, the Italians will rely on the native and will continue to bet on the Alfa Romeo Giulia. In fact, the new cars that the police will get are from the as-yet-unrevealed facelift of the model that is due to debut soon.
On the Instagram profile alfaromeo.ita, several shots of an Alfa Romeo Giulia police car have appeared, which is ready to join the numerous arsenal of the authorities. The updated model differs from its predecessor in the front headlights with more oval shapes and a different arrangement of the elements in them, as well as a changed front bumper. While we can’t see the rear in the footage shown, we do know there have been changes there as well, again affecting the lights and bumper.
On the police car, we also find a new design for the stickers, which now continue on the hood along with thin green, blue and red stripes. It is expected that we will also see changes in the interior, where we will probably find an updated infotainment system and a digital odometer in front of the driver.
