Meghan Markle and Prince Harry is said to have a deal with CBS and ITV to postpone the broadcast of Oprah’s interview when her grandfather Prince Philip dies. This was claimed by Meghan Markle’s broadcaster friend, Gayle King.
Gayle King’s recent TV remarks have sparked a new feud between Meghan supporters and Buckingham Palace, Mother. Earlier, she revealed that Megan and Prince Harry told her they had spoken to Prince Harry’s brother, Prince William, and his father, Prince Charles, but privately.
Prince William is allegedly wary of further involvement with Meghan and Prince Harry for fear of their private conversation being caught on US TV. Now, Gayle King’s revelations regarding the broadcast deal if Prince Philip dies are drawing controversy.
As is known, the 99-year-old Prince Philip was recently discharged from the hospital after a month of being treated for infection and undergoing heart surgery. Prince Philip is admitted to King Edward VII Hospital on February 16.
The husband of Queen Elizabeth II moved two weeks later to another hospital in the City of London, St Bartholomew’s, where he underwent a successful heart surgery on March 3.
Two days later, Prince Philip was transferred back to King Edward VII to recover and continue his treatment, leaving yesterday before being taken to Windsor Castle.
“Well, just so you know, they’ve done that interview before Prince Phillip go to the hospital. And if anything, God forbid, happened to him, the interview wouldn’t have gone on at a time like this, “said Gayle King, on a radio show. SiriusXM in the US.
“But the interview was over and scheduled before he was admitted to hospital. But a lot of people have raised that point,” he said.
