The Israeli Army Chief of Staff confirmed on Thursday that Israel is close to destroying the military system of the Hamas movement in the northern Gaza Strip.
Herzi Halevy said, according to Reuters: “We are close to destroying the military regime in the northern Gaza Strip. “We will complete this.”
The Israeli army announced today that it had found the body of an Israeli hostage captured by Hamas during the October 7 attack near Al-Shifa Hospital in Gaza City.

Israeli army spokesman Daniel Hagari said, “Yehudit (Weiss) was killed by terrorists in the Gaza Strip, and we were not able to reach her in time.”
An army statement explained that the body of this woman, who was kidnapped from Kibbutz Be’eri, “was removed by Israeli army forces from a building adjacent to (Al-Shifa) Hospital in the Gaza Strip, and transported to Israel.”
The Hamas movement and multiple Palestinian factions are holding more than 200 male and female Israeli and foreign prisoners and transferred them to the Gaza Strip from the camps and settlements surrounding the Strip during an attack carried out by the Hamas movement and other factions on October 7.
