The National Police said there was no suspicion of corruption in the illegal mining case, Ismail Bolong in East Kalimantan (East Kalimantan). Kadiv Humas Polri Inspector General Dedi Prasetyo said that the investigators worked according to the legal facts.
“Once again so, friends, the investigators are once again working according to the legal facts. Both in the criminal procedure law and in the 2019 Perkap 6 the stages have to be passed by the investigators,” Dedi told reporters, when asked if there is no suspicion of corruption. on Ismail Bolong, in Taman Ismail Marzuki, Central Jakarta, Saturday (17/12/2022).
The police suspect Ismail Bolong with article 158 and article 161 of the law number 3 of 2020 related to the mining of minerals and coal.
Dedi added, detectives are responsible for all matters relating to the three suspects. Starting from the evidence up to the alleged pitfalls of the article.
“Detectives are responsible for investigating the crime, then seizing evidence and evidence. That’s what the investigator is responsible for until the trial, which is the investigator’s responsibility,” he said.
The Ismail Bolong case will be devolved immediately
Bareskrim Polri immediately handed over the file to suspect Ismail Bolong regarding the illegal mining. It is known that, in addition to Ismail Bolong, two other people, namely BP and RP, have also been named as suspects.
“Since the last investigation, the focus of the investigators has also been concluded, the filing of the three suspects and the focus of the investigators. The filing will soon be handed over to the Public Prosecutor’s Office”, said the head of the Public Relations Division . by National Police Inspector General Dedi Prasetyo to reporters in Taman Ismail Marzuki, Central Jakarta on Saturday (17/12/2022).
If the file is declared complete by the prosecutor, the State Police will hand over phase II, both the suspect and the other evidence. So that the case can be processed soon.
“If the files are complete, Phase II will be delivered, both evidence and suspects will go to trial,” he said.
