British host Piers Morgan has recently raised his voice again, Mother. This time, the man brought up the name of Prince Harry’s daughter and Meghan Markle the newborn.
Quote from Daily Mail, Morgan said that the nickname the Queen pinned on Harry and Meghan’s baby girl was quite ironic. Since some time back, the couple issued negative statements about the kingdom and the monarchy.
The Duke and Duchess of Sussex announced the birth of their second child, Lilibet ‘Lili’ Diana Mountbatten-Windsor, Mother. That seems quite a shock to Buckingham Palace.
“It’s quite ironic, isn’t it? You have a couple who have undermined the Royal Family and the monarchy over the last few weeks and they named the baby after the Queen,” he replied, quoted on Monday (7/6/2021).
In addition, Morgan is also curious about the name, Mother. He suspected that the naming of Lili on the baby was expected to be a bridge to ‘make peace’ with the entire royal family.
“Maybe it’s their way of reaching out to (the royal family). As Americans say to royalty who want some sort of end to the ongoing feud,” the 56-year-old said.
Furthermore, Morgan also gave several messages for Prince Harry and Meghan Markle, Mother. In fact, he said, the act of placing a newborn in this situation was not commendable.
“I always thought when a new baby was born, I already had four (children), it was rude to put a negative slant on it. At a time like that. I wish them all the best. There are four in the family now. I wish them every success. and live a long and happy life,” he said.
For Mother to know, ‘Lilibet’ itself is a name coined by Queen Elizabeth when she was too young to pronounce the full name.
Until now, Buckingham Palace has not provided information about when Queen Elizabeth will congratulate the birth of her 11th great-grandchild. In addition, it is also unclear what order is there, what is Lili’s status, and whether the baby girl will be honored for her birth.
And to recall, the tension between Prince Harry and Meghan Markle with the royal family came after an interview they attended with Oprah Winfrey in March.
During the chat, they accused one of the unnamed royals of racist treatment of their son Archie’s skin color and claimed that the royals there failed to help the Duchess when she attempted suicide.
A while back, Harry also spoke with Oprah about mental health for Apple TV+. There, she suggested her father, Prince Charles, had allowed his children to ‘suffice’ when dealing with the media and made it a negative experience for him.
