Times have not always been easy for the Boxon, bar dedicated to metal culture, whose concept landed at Rouen (Seine-Maritime), 42 rue de la République, in the fall of 2020. Located at the crossroads of rue de la République and Alsace-Lorraine, the establishment was saved thanks to an online jackpot in March 2021, which had met with great success. Today, its manager, Kévin Girard, has recovered, and better yet, he has been chosen to organize an exceptional event: a preview evening on the theme of new album from the legendary British group Iron Maiden.
Five bars concerned in France
It will be held on Thursday, September 2, from 7:30 p.m., in the metal lair, therefore. The bar will close at two o’clock, and not midnight, for the occasion. Kévin Girard is in heaven.
We are one of the five bars that have been selected in France to preview Iron Maiden’s new album, which will be released on September 3. He’s one of the biggest heavyweights in the industry!
Fans of the hard metal group will thus be broadcast, before everyone else, the content of their 17e album, Senjutsu, which the Boxon will have received during the afternoon. The cover of the album has already been communicated to the manager, which he has already shared on Facebook. For him, it is consecration. “We opened three months ago [le 15 juin], and we have the marketing assistant from Warner Music calling us to offer us that! “
Prizes and super prizes to be won
The evening will be punctuated by the distribution of three prizes, caps and t-shirts bearing the image of the group, through activities such as quizzes and blind tests. In parallel, a big competition, common to the five bars of France, is organized: it allows to win a “super jackpot, which will concern Iron Maiden and its live side”. It does not take more to germinate the possibility of concert tickets in Kevin’s mind.
As for the menu, cheese and cold meats will be offered, with around fifty beers to choose from. The plus: customers who come with a garment and / or accessory to the glory of the star group of the evening will benefit from preferential rates.
