The Iren Group won the twelfth edition of the Top Utility Award

ROME – Il Iren Group won the twelfth edition of the Top Utility Award, dedicated to the performance of the one hundred largest Italian energy, environment and water companies. The award was collected this morning at Palazzo Turati, in Milan, by the President of the Iren Group Luca Dal Fabbro. Among the reasons for the awarding of the prize, the excellent economic and operational performance recorded by Iren in the last year, the constant attention to transparency and discussion with customers and the territory and the ability to carry out innovative projects and investments related to the circular economy and in particular to strategic materials.

Solid realities like Iren are seen with strong interest from international investors, as demonstrated recently by the issuing of the Green Bond by the Group which received orders 10 times higher than the amount offered”. The award dedicated to Italian excellence in the public utility services sector also underlines the Iren Group’s commitment to the recovery and valorisation of critical raw materials with a view to circularity.

Now in its twelfth edition, the Top Utility is the main Italian think tank of reference in the public utility sector. Coordinated by Althesys and organized in collaboration with Utilitalia, every year the event evaluates the one hundred largest companies in the energy, water, gas and waste sectors and recognizes their excellence.
