Nasser Shaaban, Undersecretary at the Ministry of Education in Dakahlia, commented on the incident, saying: “Female students have been wearing the cloak as a school uniform since 2019 and the uniform should be changed every 3 years.”

She confirmed to Al-Arabiya.net that the incident will be investigated and those responsible will be held accountable, noting that the dress code for female students will have changed and they will be required to wear the uniform specified by the Ministry of Education.
