The iQOO 10 mobiles are now available, the Pro variant is the first that can be charged with 200 watts

The iQOO 10 smartphones have finally arrived, of which the Pro variant is a real highlight, as it supports 200-watt fast charging via wire, a world first. The devices can be interesting not only because of the lightning-fast battery charging, as they debuted with high-end hardware, great displays and cameras, and other useful extras.

iQOO 10 Pro

Let’s perhaps start by describing the battery capabilities, since the iQOO 10 Pro offers a revolution in this. The maximum capacity of the battery inside the mobile is 4700 mAh, the battery consists of two cells.

Using the appropriate charger, which will be included in the device box, a full charge takes only 10 minutes. The mobile is not only compatible with the GaN charger, but also with the USB Power Delivery standard, it can use these chargers up to 65 watts, plus wireless charging is also supported up to 50 watts.

Inside the iQOO 10 Pro, the calculations are performed by a Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 chipset, which can be accompanied by 8 or 12 GB of LPDDR5 RAM depending on the chosen configuration, while the internal storage space can be 256 or 512 GB. By the way, these are UFS 3.1 standard storage spaces, on which a little bit will be set aside for the Android 12 operating system running on the mobile, equipped with the OriginOS interface.

The display is 6.78 inches, the panel is an E5 AMOLED design with a total of 3200 x 1440 pixels. The LTPO 3.0 display supports an alternating refresh rate of up to 120 Hz, in addition to offering 100 percent DCI-P3 coverage and factory color calibration (deltaE < 0.32). The chip set inside the smartphone is joined by the vivo V1+ chip, which tries to increase the frame rate of games through interpolation, so at least the display with an increased refresh rate is used, so that the temperature produced by the hardware can remain lower. Another task of the plus chip is image processing.

On the back of the smartphone, a 50-megapixel ISOCELL GN5 module plays the role of the primary image recording unit, the camera can record motion pictures in 8K resolution. In addition to the primary module, there is a 14.6-megapixel 3x telephoto camera equipped with an optical image stabilizer, and a 50-megapixel ultra-wide-angle unit that detects the environment at 150 degrees. The front camera is located in a cutout, with a resolution of 16 megapixels. The support for 5G, Wi-Fi 6, and Bluetooth 5.3 standards is also worth mentioning, in the case of the latter, aptX and LDAC compatibility are also at play, in addition to these, there is also the navigation system that supports almost all satellite systems, as well as NFC.

In China, you can already reserve your own copy of the device, which will go on sale on July 26. The cheapest 8/256 GB version can be purchased for $740 in local currency.

iQOO 10

The basic model is similar to the Pro variant in many ways, but it costs less, and because of this, some features had to be cut. However, the device is still a great offer. Inside the iQOO 10, a battery with a capacity of 4700 mAh performs the task of power supply, but this time the maximum charging speed is “only” 120 watts.

Theoretically, this allows the device to be charged to 50 percent in just seven minutes, and it takes 19 minutes to fully charge. USB Power Delivery up to 65 watts is also supported, but induction solutions cannot be used to charge the smartphone.

The Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 chipset also serves inside the mobile, and the manufacturer’s own V1+ chip is also present. The operative memory and storage options are also the same as in the case of the Pro variant.

The size of the display is also the same, a 6.78-inch E5 AMOLED display with a flat design has been placed on the front of the mobile, although the resolution has been reduced to 2400 x 1080 pixels and it is not an LTPO panel, but the image refresh rate is still 120 Hz.

On the back of the phone, a 50-megapixel GN5 module is still the primary image capture unit, but now without optical image stabilization. An ultra-wide-angle camera was also included in the set, although the angle of view is only 120 degrees, and the resolution is 13 megapixels. We also get a telephoto camera with 2x zoom and 12 megapixel resolution, and the front camera is also 16 megapixels.

The distribution of the iQOO 10 will also start on July 26, but the device can already be reserved. The basic configuration is 8/128 GB and will cost you $550 in local currency.
