The iPhone SE is not dead! Indeed, Apple should unveil the next generation of this “entry-level” model in 5G for 2025.
The iPhone SE has always been a paradox, a UFO in the range of Apple smartphones. And although many analysts predicted its imminent demise, it may well be making a comeback with an all-new 5G modem. MCE TV tells you everything from A to Z!
Apple is keeping its iPhone SE alive
It is a model that has always been out of step with the successive releases of “conventional” iPhones. The SE declination is placed as a parallel, an alternative to the more expensive models from the firm with the Bitten Apple.
And this distinction has not always been very easy to manage for the tech giant. Indeed, he constantly seems to have a train behind in design, with evolutions coming after the battle. There is only to see its striking resemblance to the iPhone 11a year after its release.
Moreover, it is a smartphone that wants to be cheap and therefore, much less elitist than his peers. Don’t expect to find the MagSafe on the iPhone SE 3…
Nevertheless, the hype seems real on the forthcoming 4th generation. Indeed, it seems to embark a bunch of improvements customers were eagerly waiting for. It smells good, this story!
At the same time, this new model from Apple will do a big step forward in terms of design with – among others – the disappearance of the famous Touch ID button. It was time !
But then what about its official release date ? MCE TV tells you more!

A release planned for 2025
We will have to wait a little longer before we can get this new iPhone SE. But not so much, since he should join the shelves within two years. It’s coming !
Indeed, the first information about it comes straight from analyst Ming-Chi Kuo. And although the latter announced the cessation of its development by Apple some time ago, he recently reconsidered his remarks.
We therefore know that the Cupertino company has taken over the project, and does not seem to be doing things by halves. It must be said that this new iPhone SE model will be finally with an OLED screen produced by BOE, after so many years of struggling with an outdated LCD. So that’s a good thing done!
In addition, the other expert Jeff Pu has just announced that this new generation of the SE range will be equipped for the first time with a “5G chip manufactured by TSMC, and developed by Apple”. It promises !
And finally, we know that there will be a distinction between the iPhone SE 4 (planned for 2024) and the SE 5G which will be released a year later. However, this is information to be taken with a grain of salt…
In any case, we can’t wait to discover the surprises that this future Apple model has in store for us. And I promise, we’ll let you know as soon as we have more news!
