What will be the name of the iPhones that will be released in 2021? iPhone 13 or iPhone 12s… or something else? According to’Economic Daily News, citing sources at the production chain level, it will be iPhone 13 with still the names mini, Pro and Pro Max for the different variants.
Of course, we can say that an iPhone 13 arriving after the iPhone 12, which itself followed the iPhone 11, is more than logical. But the number 13 is a subject of superstition in some areas and some would like Apple to choose another name. A recent survey indicated that nearly one in five iPhone and iPad users (18.3%) found that they would be discouraged by the name iPhone 13. Those who have a problem with the name iPhone 13 would like Apple to choose another option. 38% would prefer iPhone (2021), 16% would like iPhone 21, 13% are in favor of iPhone 12s and 7% would like Apple to go straight to iPhone 14.
The last iPhone to have the letter S is the iPhone XS in 2018. Apple is apparently not going to choose the name iPhone 12s this year and continue with the name iPhone 13.
Apple will announce its four iPhone 13s in September and will market its new phones in the process. We thus return to the normal rhythm. There have been upheavals in 2020 because of the Covid-19.
