The regular iPhone 13, but also the iPhone 14, only have a 60Hz panel, and they do not support Always-On, which is the domain of the iPhone 14 Pro series. And Apple doesn’t seem to want to change anything about it.
Upcoming iPhone 15 (not Pro) will not have LTPO technologyso we can say goodbye to both high refresh rate and is Always-On technology. Technically, it would be possible, but given that Apple only offers these options for panels with LTPO (primarily due to durability), it is almost certain that it will once again be the privilege of more expensive models. When we realize the fact that the panels 120Hz refresh rate and Always-On support today, any Android competition offers for a few thousand, for example the Motorola Moto G72 or POCO X5 5G, it is surprising that the Apple competition has not yet decided to take a similar step. On the other hand, it must be said that the 60Hz display on the iPhone looks smoother than the 60Hz panel on the cheap Android. But that does not change the fact that the absence of these technologies in a phone at a price far exceeding 20,000 crowns is a bit of a shame.
