The iPhone 13 would have a larger capacity battery

A new rumor shared on Twitter by the L0vetodream account, who had already predicted the new iMac M1, ensures this time that the next iPhone would be entitled to better autonomy. More specifically, the report examines three models:

  • the A2653 to 4 352 mAh
  • the A2656 at 3,095 mAh
  • the A2660 at 2,406 mAh

It is impossible to link these numbers with precision to those of the iPhone 13. However, the one with a capacity of more than 4000 mAh could well be found in the specs of the supposed iPhone 13 Pro Max, given that its predecessor (the iPhone 12 Pro Max) is the most provided in this area. Indeed, according to site data GSMArena, the device now has 3,687 mAh of endurance, which would therefore mean a significant increase of nearly 18%.

What recharge for the iPhone 12S?

The 2021 iPhones should, like their competitors, be compatible with fast charging. This would be triggered via the MagSafe connector installed on the back of the device, while the Lightning port could disappear. This is indeed what some analysts have been estimating for several months now, for whom Apple would deem this solution more judicious than that of the USB-C plug imposed by Europe.

To be sure, however, it will be necessary to wait a few more months. Indeed, the iPhone launch keynote occurs most of the time in the fall, its date is not known to date. It could be around September or October, according to the calendar of the last similar conferences of the apple brand.

Confidence index

With 88% of rumors shared and then confirmed, @ L0vetodream is a relatively reliable informant when it comes to guessing the future of Cupertino. According to figures fromAppleTrack, only Mark Gurman (Bloomberg), the newspaper The Information, CoinX and Kang would do better, with the latter still nearing a perfect score.

Numbers that may not please the person concerned: indeed, at Apple, doing so color ink is simply liable to potential legal action.
