The logic board on the iPhone 12 looks bigger than the iPhone 11. This is because the 5G network support on the iPhone 12 requires an extra chip.
The 5G modem that Apple uses is Qualcomm X55, according to the rumors that were circulating previously. To make the shape even thinner, Apple designed its own 5G antenna design for iPhone 12.
Even though the logic board on the iPhone 12 is larger, there are several parts that have been shrunk in size by Apple to make the design of this phone smaller.
The OLED panel unit is thinner and the Taptic Engine unit is much smaller. This video also confirms the iPhone 12 battery capacity at the level of 2,815 mAh, 15% smaller than the battery in the iPhone 11.
All these sacrifices make the iPhone 12 11% thinner, 15% smaller and 16% lighter than the iPhone 11.
Apart from that, this video also shows the camera system iPhone 12 and the MagSafe system on the back. Apparently this circle is made of completely magnets which can make it easier for the MagSafe wireless charger to stick to the back of the cellphone.
