Apple is preparing to release the iOS 16.1.1 update which fixes several bugs.
Analysis of the MacRumors website last week revealed signs of devices running iOS 16.1.1. This suggests that the iOS 16.1.1 update has been tested internally by Apple and could be released in the near future, MacRumors said.
The iOS 16.1.1 update is expected to fix the Wi-Fi bug that has been widely reported since the release of iOS 16.1. It may also include other bug fixes, such as battery drain and Spotlight Search related bugs. The new features are also likely to include a satellite emergency call feature for the iPhone 14 series.
Meanwhile, Apple is currently testing the beta version of iOS 16.2 and iPadOS 16.2. iOS 16.2 is expected to be released around mid-December.
