The investment company of the Agnelli family, Exor, bought 24% of French luxury shoe brand Christian Louboutin for 541 million euros. The news was confirmed on Monday by the two companies: the investment will allow Exor to grow in the luxury products sector and Louboutin to expand further, particularly in Asian markets. Louboutin, founded in 1991 in Paris by designer Christian Louboutin, is one of the most famous luxury shoe brands in the world, known in particular for producing shoes with red soles: a very distinctive trait and that it has been at the center of several legal disputes.
