Three days of mourning has been declared in Argentina. The country mourns one of the best footballers in history, Diego Maradona. He died on Wednesday, November 25, at the age of 61.
An autopsy revealed that the Argentina national football team coach had died of acute heart failure. It caused a fatal pulmonary edema. Investigators also found out that on November 23, the last time a football player was seen alive by his nephew.
Diego Armando Maradona became world champion in 1986. He was twice recognized as the best football player in South America. He has once won the title of champion of Argentina and twice – the champion of Italy. According to the results of voting on the official FIFA website, Maradona is the best footballer of the 20th century.
