Russian troops withdraw to the Kherson region
The deputy of the Kherson regional council said that the Ukrainian army had already entered the village of Dudchany and that the invaders were trying to gain a foothold near Berislav.
Ukrainian defenders in the Kherson region continue their counter-offensive. At the same time, the Russians are retreating and trying to gain a foothold somewhere. This was announced on Wednesday 5 October by the deputy of the Kherson Regional Council, Sergei Khlan, broadcast on Channel 24.
He noted that the Ukrainian army had already entered the village of Dudchany. Thus, from the original first line, they advanced into the Kherson region by 30 kilometers.
“This means that the Russians are casually withdrawing and trying to take hold somewhere near Berislav. That is, in Mylovoe (village – ed). They are trying to create some kind of other point of resistance,” Khlan said. adding that this would not help the Russians.
