Since Clément lives with his Venezuelan girlfriend, Estelle is the only foal in the Van Wanten household. In ‘Bye All’ this week she tells us how she experiences that. Her half-brother has been living closer since the beginning of this month, in an apartment around the corner. Before that, Clément was also in a student room, so Estelle was somewhat used to his absence, she says. “But I think it’s a pity that he’s really gone now,” it sounds.
The half-brother and sister had a good relationship, more so in the past than now, she admits. Estelle and Clément have the same mother, Wendy Van Wanten. Who is Clement’s father? Wendy has never revealed that publicly. However, Wendy did tell her daughter Estelle, it turns out. When ‘Bye Everyone’ asks Estelle right away if she knows who Clément’s father is, she replies “Yes. But Clément always said ‘daddy’ to Frans, my daddy. It never occurred to me that he has another father.”
In the interview, Estelle talks about Wendy and Frans’ teenage pranks. The two cannot contain their love at home, sometimes to the point of boredom, says their daughter. Wendy doesn’t hide her love for Estelle either. In ‘Day All’ she talks exuberantly about how proud she is of the love child she brought into the world with Frans.
