There is indeed a struggle between clans in the Kremlin, but this is not a struggle against Putin, but for his attention and money, political analyst Fyodor Krasheninnikov said.
The struggle between the clans of the Kremlin is really going on. And at first glance, this statement looks quite optimistic. However, in fact, there is one caveat: these people are fighting among themselves for money and Putin’s attention. And while no one is trying to remove the leader of the Russian Federation, and he himself is not arresting anyone (en masse), it is not clear what facts we are discussing at all. This is mostly either speculation or an attempt to present the fight for resources as a fight against Putin, although the dictator most likely even encourages this madness. Like all autocrats, he fears most of all that the environment will be united and decide to remove him, so he benefits from the ongoing struggle between clans.
Such an opinion expressed Russian oppositionist, political scientist, author of the books “Cloud Democracy” and “After Russia” Fyodor Krasheninnikov in an interview with Natalya Vlashchenko, which can be viewed on the Vlast&Vlashchenko YouTube channel.
As the expert noted, we cannot know anything about the “wars” inside the Kremlin until it comes to the surface, and it can come to the surface in two ways.
First way: in the morning we turn on YouTube, and they show us some person who says that Putin has died, got sick or died, and some Provisional Committee will now work instead of him. And we understand: “Yeah, here it is, finally, hooray!”
Second option is as follows: we learn that dozens of people have been arrested in Moscow: ministers, generals, etc. And then it becomes clear that there was a conspiracy in the Kremlin, but it was revealed.
“But now it’s somehow strange. Everyone is talking about the brewing of some kind of conspiracy, but Putin doesn’t arrest anyone. How is it possible? The special services sit and do nothing? In fact, the conspirators have a very small gap in this sense. spoiled it, because if there were any dissatisfied people in the army or special services, now supervision over them has increased in ten once”, Krasheninnikov explained.
The expert also noted that Prigozhin’s rebellion was directed against Gerasimov and Shoigu, that is, it was also a struggle for money and Putin’s attention.
Earlier, Fyodor Krasheninnikov named the only scenario in which Putin could be removed from power.
Fyodor Krasheninnikov also answered a sharp question about Putin: “He is not going to lose this war.”
