The International Criminal Court plans to send more staff to Ukraine

In May, ICC staff conducted an extensive on-site investigation in Ukraine. It was the largest mission ever carried out by the ICC on the scene. Since then, the permanent presence of the ICC has been secured in Ukraine, Khan announced at the UN Security Council meeting.

He said ICC investigators are working diligently and gathering facts to distinguish truth from fiction.

Khan added that the scene so far is truly disturbing.

“I’ve been to Ukraine three times,” Khan said, noting that he saw devastation, suffering and evil there.
