The District of Sarthe announced a very sad news via its social networks a few hours ago. Gilles Sepchat, who had accepted to take the interim presidency of the District following the resignation of Franck Plouse, has passed away. At the time of his election, the one everyone describes as a football enthusiast, said: “I would have gone well, I have to fight against an illness ” as the Alpes Mancelles underlines in its article. His wish, which could not be achieved, was to hold the presidency until October 1, the date of the next general assembly. From now on, he will remain as one of the figures of Sarthois football and of the Mamers club, where he has known everything.
