The Embassy also expressed its concern about the distribution of false information that “may overshadow crimes against humanity and war crimes against the oppressed Palestinian nation.”
According to the statement, the institution detailed that CR7 traveled to Iran on September 18 and 19 to play a match, and mentioned that the interaction with the painter had no other nuance than cordiality.
“His sincere and human meeting with Fatemeh Hamami was also praised and admired by both the people and the country’s sports authorities,” the message concludes.
