According to him, having left the right bank of the Dnieper, the Russians completed the regrouping of troops in different territories – these are the occupied parts of Kherson, Zaporizhzhya and Donetsk regions and created reserves.
“Today we observe a fairly active movement of territorial troops, which have been mobilized on the territory of the Russian Federation in all military districts,” Skibitsky notes.
He specified that the movement of Russian military personnel in the Rostov region, in the Belgorod region and through the territory of temporarily occupied Crimea in the Kherson region is underway.
“These are measures taken by the Russian Federation to strengthen its presence in the temporarily occupied territories and compensate for the losses of Russian troops fighting since February,” explained the representative of the Main Intelligence Directorate.
What are they talking about in the West
Despite the fact that the Russian Federation has not achieved the goals set at the beginning of the war, according to the West it will not give up.
However, the allies note that the Russian command may try to “press with numbers”, using more “cannon fodder” to try to slow down the Ukrainian offensive.
Meanwhile, Britain’s defense ministry believes Ukraine’s military will be in “much better shape than their adversaries” over the winter, so it has called for pressure on the degraded Russian military.
