Publisher Kalypso Media and developers at The Dust are ready to release their story-focused dark fantasy adventure game, The Inquisitor, into the world. Set in an alternate reality where Jesus Christ broke free from the crucifixion and became a vengeful man determined to take over the world even 1,500 years after these events.
You play as the religious investigator and lawman Mordimer Madderdin as he tries to get rid of trespassers in the city of Koenigstein.
The Inquisitor launches on PC, PS5 and Xbox Series X/S on February 8th, and with that in mind, we’ve created an “Everything You Need to Know” video to clear up any questions you might have. Here we go into more detail about the basic story, how this gloomy world came to be, the many tasks and challenges that await Mordimer and what skills and qualities he has to solve them.
