The inhaler in our house is a device that, unfortunately, we use more than we would like

“Kidsmed” is an Estonian company where you will find health products and devices for the whole family. At the end of last year, the “MeshPlus” inhaler of the “Kidsmed” brand was launched, which has already been appreciated by many families.

A comfortable mask

The set includes two inhaler masks. One for children and one for adults. Both masks have a soft edge, which makes it particularly comfortable to use.

Silent and wireless

The inhaler is also ideal for use at night, as it works almost silently.

Suitable for lying down

The inhaler can also be used lying down. The solution is in a sealed container, so the device can be used in any position.

Light, small, portable

The device is light and small in size, which makes it easy to carry, and it is convenient to use both at home and, for example, when traveling. The inhaler comes with a high-quality storage and transport bag.

Stable and high-quality steam

The “Kidsmed MeshPlus” inhaler produces MMAD 3 μm particles, which means that 70% of the particles are smaller than 3 μm. 0.2 ml of solution is sprayed in 1 minute.

Can be used together with medicines

Thanks to the extremely fine steam particles, it is also possible to use the medicines prescribed by the doctor for the treatment of laryngitis, bronchitis, cough and other respiratory diseases.

Read mother Elizabeth’s review of the “Kidsmed MeshPlus” inhaler:

“I’m a mum of two (five and seven) and our family history with inhalers is long… Oh how long! When the youngest was born he was diagnosed with asthma at four months old. Fortunately it’s non-allergic which gives hope, that in the near future it might go away completely as he gets older. So what does this type of asthma mean? No, he doesn’t get short of breath when he runs and doesn’t need to use an aerosol “pipe” every day. But if he catches a virus, it usually ends up with bronchitis, which is treated with asthma meds, either a Babyhaler or an inhaler. Either way, regular NaCl vapor always helps with his healing process. We’ve tried many different inhalers over the years. In many cases, our frequency of use has been excessive and the devices have given up. The last we used an inhaler with mesh technology for two years, but in November of last year it also started to produce vapor worse, besides, I had attached a “Babyhaler” mask to it with adhesive tape, because the mask that came with the inhaler atoru, there were holes so big that half of the vapor created by the medicine was lost. Second, the cap that held the batteries was damaged and similarly the lid of the medicine compartment had already been repaired several times. It was time for a new inhaler!

So when I heard that Kidsmed, whose Nosiboo and Termoplus devices have been serving us for years, had launched an inhaler, I immediately ordered it. When I opened the package, I was very happy when I took out a black, stylish and sturdy box with a zipper from the cardboard box. Has anyone REALLY thought about the fact that the inhaler needs a box that won’t break and is easy to carry around or just as safe to store in a medicine drawer? It was really thought out! When I opened the box, I was greeted by the contents, where everything was in its place. The first thing I did was grab the masks and I wanted to squirm with joy. First of all, they had a suitable, rigid shape. Several times I have received masks from packaging with crooked and curved edges. They then no longer fit well to the face and begin to rub when steam is formed. But these were perfect – incredibly light, perfectly shaped and with little holes. No big hole near my nose that I need to patch.

The device itself is small and light, the masks are easily connected to the device using a small tube, and changing adult and child masks is quick. The set also includes a mouthpiece. We mostly don’t use it, but there’s definitely someone who does. I put the mask on the inhaler and was about to think I didn’t have any batteries at home when I saw 2 AA batteries staring at me from the mesh pocket inside the box. Brilliant! Of course, it would also have been possible to use the device with the included USB cable (you have to provide the adapter yourself, just like when you buy a phone, for example), which is a normal length, not 15 cm like the other cable we had at home.

The mask is there, the batteries inside and then the solution. The drug container opened easily, but at the same time, when closing it, you could feel that there is a good seal under the lid of the container, which will not allow the liquid to escape even if you want to inhale while lying down. I often give the children steam to breathe at night, when the coughing fits are most troublesome. That’s why it’s so important!

I poured the solution inside and pressed the button. There was a low hiss and a thick vapor came out of the device. Very quiet device. My five-year-old was impatiently squirming next to me and asked to be given a try. After 10 minutes the “steam engine” had received his approval!

We have been MeshPlus users for over a month so far and have used the inhaler at least half of the time. Even us adults, because children share their little friend with mom and dad as happily as with kisses and hugs. During this time of using the device, we never had to change the batteries, that is, the device consumes them minimally, which is a great pleasure. After using the device, I rinse the medicine container with clean water and let it dry before putting it in the box. I warmly recommend it to families with both small and older children!

In general, I can say that this inhaler is recommended, and the quality-price ratio is adequate. I would buy again just for these masks and the box.”
