The war in Ukraine has dominated the news for a good week now. While fighting and bombing are linked in the country, a great outpouring of solidarity has started everywhere in France, especially in Côte d’Or, to come to the aid of the Ukrainian people. This week, we spoke to you in particular about a new association which was founded on Tuesday and which is called “Ukraine Dijon Besancon”. Many municipalities in the Dijon metropolis have also launched solidarity initiatives in favor of Ukraine, such as Saint-Apollinaire, Asnières-lès-Dijon and Longvic. And the city of Dijon has said it is ready to welcome Ukrainian refugees.

We also took stock this week of the humanitarian aid organized by the French Red Cross of Côte d’Or.

On another subject, as the presidential election draws closer and Emmanuel Macron has finally announced his candidacy, you have until Friday evening to register at the town hall on the electoral lists.

An exceptional blood drive took place on Tuesday morning at the Château du Clos de Vougeot. On the occasion of Mardi Gras, participants were invited to come in costume. Check out our video report.

The agricultural show continues until this weekend in Paris, and the Côte d’Or was honored on Tuesday during a special day. We discussed the subject with Vincent Lavier, the president of the chamber of agriculture of the department.

Finally, this is the good news of the week: Jean Castex announced this Thursday the end of the obligation to wear a mask indoors and the lifting of the vaccination pass for March 14.

Have a nice week end !
