On October 22, 1983, hundreds of thousands of Germans demonstrated for peace and against the NATO double decision, i.e. the stationing of weapons of mass destruction.
What hardly anyone suspected: the secret services of the GDR and Soviet Union influenced the peace movement. The KGB’s “Service A” in particular relied on “influence conversations, covert document campaigns, oral disinformation and the increased use of unconscious multipliers.”
The methods used today to spread Putinism in this country are very similar.
