This before is the May 16, 2014.
RDS journalists Luc Gélinas and Patrick Friolet were then assigned to cover the Eastern Conference final series between the Canadiens and the Rangers.
As their job requires, they meet players and managers from both teams and everyone goes into their analysis.
Alain Vigneault praises the work of Michel Therrien and vice versa. Players say their opponents are strong…but no one is talking about Chris Kreider, who had 37 points in 66 regular season games and hasn’t done anything spectacular since the start of the playoffs.

But no one suspects that 24 hours later, during the first game of the series, Chris Kreider comes to screw everything up for the Canadians and their supporters.
Without this event, would the Canadiens have won the Stanley Cup?
Maybe.
