The Indonesian National Team will be supported by 1,600 supporters against Bahrain

Up to 1,600 supporters will support the struggle Indonesian national team oppose Bahrain in the 2026 World Cup Qualifier at the Bahrain National Stadium, Thursday afternoon (10/10).

This estimated number was announced by the head of the Indonesian National Team fan community in Bahrain, Garuda Bahrain, Ilham Jamaludin.

Despite this, the number of 1,600 only reached Tuesday afternoon (8/10) and that has not stopped. According to Ilham, the number of Indonesian supporters who come to the Bahrain National Stadium could increase.

“For supporters only, we have currently sold around 1,600 tickets, and this number will continue to rise until D-day considering the keen interest of our Indonesian citizens towards the national team at this time,” Ilham told CNNIndonesia.com.

In the latest upload to Garuda Bahrain’s Instagram account, the number of tickets sold to Indonesian supporters exceeded 1,700.

Tickets for the Bahrain vs Indonesia duel have been purchased for supporters of the Red and White Team by Garuda Bahrain. But until October 6, tickets will be purchased directly through the Bahrain Football Association.

The fans of Shin Tae Yong’s team plan to keep the south stand behind the goal for the game. According to Ilham, the ticket price for the tribune is around 10 Bahraini dinars or equivalent to IDR 416 thousand.

Garuda Bahrain, as a support group for the Red and White Team in that country, has so far prepared a choreography and a large flag measuring 2×10 meters.

“We are currently preparing a choreography, where we will display a red and white flag measuring 2×10 meters when Indonesia Raya plays at the Bahrain National Stadium later,” said Ilham.

“We are still coordinating with several support groups from Garuda Qatar, Garuda Saudi, Garuda Kuwait, Garuda Oman and Garuda UAE regarding the choreography on the 10th,” said Ilham.
