BOLASPORT.COM – Energetic star Indonesian National team Saddil Ramdani still runny nose when the dream of Bambang Pamungkas et al buried in Kuwait in the 2011 Asian Cup Qualification.
He was only 10 years old when the Garuda Squad had to surrender 1-2 to Al-Azraq (The Blue) at Al Kuwait Sports Club Stadium, Kuwait City, November 14, 2009.
The national team took the lead through Bambang Pamungkas’ 33rd minute goal thanks to Ismed Sofyan’s corner.
Kuwait could never reply until the normal time of the match was only one third left.
However, disaster came when the referee pointed to the penalty spot because he considered Muhammad Ilham to have violated a Kuwaiti player in the forbidden box.
Bader Al-Mutawawho is believed to be the executioner, successfully equalized the score to 1-1 in the 60th minute.
Approaching the end of time, the duel seemed to be ending 1-1.
However, due to the carelessness of the Indonesian defense, two minutes before the game ended Bader shot the ball towards the far post, which goalkeeper Markus Haris Maulana could not reach.
The striker, who was 24 years old at the time, was truly a nightmare for the Garuda Squad.
