The Indigo Disk DLC: Fans Confirm Main Antagonist Theory for Pokémon Scarlet and Violet

A fan theory about The Indigo Disk’s main antagonist has been confirmed by a group of insightful fans, who have put together a theory that could have revealed the identity of the DLC’s next villain.

When the Teal Mask DLC was released on September 13, Pokémon Scarlet and Violet fans began their school trip to Kitakami Island to learn about its culture and the history of The Loyal Three and Ogerpon.

But soon after, players discovered that there was a certain hidden Pokémon, which some consider evil, namely “The Peach Pokémon”, as it has since been known. This Pokémon symbolizes struggle and conflict and has led fans to believe many things about the identity of the true villain of Ogerpon’s story.

And now, fans finally have proof that this Pokémon Peach was behind Kieran’s strange attitude and the resurrection of the Loyal Three.

So it’s practically confirmed, right?

Reddit user ‘Phinome’ posted this on the Pokémon Scarlet and Violet subreddit and said, “So it’s pretty much confirmed, right?” As you can see in the images above, the Pokémon responsible for all the mess on Kitakami Island was always hiding in plain sight.

Nintendo and Game Freak tend to reveal important information for their franchise through navigation, and fans are always eager to collect and glue the pieces together.

Still, some fans remain skeptical about the identity of The Teal Mask DLC villain: “If all this foreshadowing doesn’t come to pass, it’s going to suck. But yes, it is practically confirmed.”

The theory confirms the main antagonist of The Indigo Disk DLC

As some fans have pointed out, this mysterious Pokémon, which fans called “Dokutaro” (in reference to the classic Japanese folktale of Momotaro), manipulated the Kitakami villagers in the past to steal the Ogerpon masks, but failed.

Then, he manipulated The Three Loyalists into doing his dirty work. When that also failed, we had to wait for years.

Game Freak “Dokutaro” is the zombie peach Pokémon that they tease with clues, like this one in Kitakami’s store.

Until Kieran began to take an interest in Ogerpon, this Pokémon used its feelings to manipulate him, resurrecting The Loyal Three in the process, in an attempt to take over Ogerpon and his powerful masks.

So, as some of the fans have pointed out, “Kieran looks like a villain now.” As teased in the finale of The Teal Mask DLC, this character shows a new appearance that gives the impression that he has undergone a great psychological change.
