A… special gift was given to Emmanuel Karalis and Miltos Tedoglou for their participation in the athletics meeting in Lausanne, from the organizers of the Diamond League.
Both the gold medalist in the long jump and the bronze medalist in the pole vault got… three kilos of cheese as a gift.
In fact, Emmanuel Karalis made a few stories on Instagram posing with the gift he received and both he and Miltos Tedoglou look surprised.
Miltos Tedoglou won first place with his last attempt, in the Diamond League match and will be present at the final in Brussels.
The Greek champion and Olympic gold medalist in the long jump was the winner of the Lausanne Diamond League and secured his qualification to the final of the series in Brussels (September 13-14).
After his first disqualified jump, in the second he jumped 7.61 m. With his fifth jump of 7.97 m he climbed to third place and with his last jump of 8.06 m to first place.
