Starting from next Monday 27 June, the tariff increases announced by Poste Italiane through an official note. Increases that will affect universal correspondence / parcel services and will fall within the limits set out by the Communications Authority through Resolution 171/22 / Cons of 6 June.
The new prices
According to what was communicated by Poste Italiane, therefore, starting from next Monday the rates for correspondence and parcels will undergo an increase.
For shipments of less than 20 grams in weight, the rate Post 4 retail will increase by 10 cents, increasing from 1.10 to 1.20 euros. In addition to this, the costs of all the expected weight brackets will also be adjusted upwards. The costs of international Postmail will also vary for the first two weight groups, for physical acceptance and Zone 1, while all the other groups should remain unchanged: to be precise, mailings up to 20 grams in weight will go from 1.15 to 1.25 euros, while those within 50 grams of weight will rise from 2.20 to 3.05 euros.
Changes will be made, in this case in relation to all weight brackets, including the rates of Registered mail (retail): consignments up to 20 grams in weight will increase from € 5.40 to € 5.60.
Increases are planned, explains Poste Italiane in the note, also with regard to the Judicial registered mail. Increases that will affect all weight brackets: from 9.50 to 10.55 euros for shipments made to post offices within 20 grams of weight, while those accepted in business centers / integrated services notifications will rise from 9.50 at 10.15 euros.
Furthermore, from 27 June, the rate of the national retail acknowledgment of receipt will also vary (from 0.95 to 1.10 euros): this reduction will have an impact on registered mail services for Italy and, if the shipment takes place from a post office, even on those of insured mail for Italy. Other effects will also be found on standard Poste delivery and book folds with the right of recommendation.
Changes in sight also for the price of the national business acknowledgment (from 0.70 to 0.75 cents): the aforementioned retouching will instead have an effect, explains Poste Italiane, on registered Pro-Smart and insured Smart, Smart at a special rate, I fold business books and Post Office delivery Standards.
