The increase in Covid cases reflects a frequency equal to the beginning of the pandemic

The slight increase in coronavirus cases in recent days is reflected in the beginning of the pandemic in March 2020, when the infections started to increase significantly to reach thousands of citizens carrying the disease.

These cases were detected after carrying out a total of 3,090 tests, including 667 via PCR and 2,423 antigen tests.

The daily positivity is 14.51 percent and that recorded in the last four weeks is 2.90 percent.

Active cases remain above a thousand and this Friday recorded 1,414 in this category. Yesterday the data showed the notification of 1,093 active cases.

The places where the highest detections of infections predominate are the National District and the provinces of Santo Domingo, Santiago and San Pedro de Macorís.
