Moreover, until now the number of increasing cases of covid in Pekanbaru and in general Riau is still high and is of concern to the central government.
Secretary of the Pekanbaru City Investment and One Stop Integrated Services (DPM-PTSP) Office F Rudi Misdian said the prohibition cinema to operate in accordance with directions from the Central Government.
“So from the center it has not allowed. The center asks to wait, don’t operate first,” said Rudi Misdian to tribunpekanbaru.com Sunday (24/10/2020).
Rudi conveyed that prohibition cinema operates also considering the high spread of the plague Covid-19 in Pekanbaru and Riau, of course.
“Because (the spread) of covid is increasing, that is one of the considerations cinema have not been allowed to operate, “he explained.
Although not yet allowed to operate, Rudi said that there were already 7 managers cinema who applied for operational permits and all of them have been processed.
“Indeed, there are 7 operational permits that we are processing. It’s just that to be able to operate we have to wait for the direction from the center. So even though the permits have been processed, until now none have operated,” he said.
