Russian Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin also declared income. He earned a little less in 2019 than in 2018, namely 18.2 million rubles. The income of the prime minister’s wife last year amounted to 54.8 million rubles. This amount includes the profit from deposits in banks.
It is worth noting that Mishustin, who was in business until 2010, transferred his assets to his wife when he entered the civil service (from 2010 to 2020, the current head of government headed the Federal Tax Service). According to the declaration, the Mishustins couple and their son own an apartment with an area of 141.6 square meters. In 2019, they purchased a 5500 square meter parcel of land and a house of over 860 square meters. In addition, the wife of the prime minister owns a Ford Kuga car.
The richest official in the Russian government in 2019 was the head of the Ministry of Industry and Trade Denis Manturov. Over the year, his profit grew by 32 percent. At the end of 2018, the minister earned 443 million rubles, and at the end of 2019 – 586 million. It follows from the declaration that last year he got rid of a part of his vehicle fleet, namely the Moskvich 412, VAZ 2103 and GAZ-21 cars. The minister kept the Range Rover, Lada Vesta and Moskvich 408 cars for himself.
Deputy Prime Minister Dmitry Chernyshenko took the second place in terms of income: his income for 2019 amounted to 432.3 million rubles.
Among the wealthiest ministers at the end of 2019 were Deputy Prime Minister Yuri Trutnev (180 million rubles), the head of the Ministry of Agriculture Dmitry Patrushev (157 million rubles) and the head of the Ministry of Telecom and Mass Communications Maksut Shadayev (90.7 million rubles).
The income of Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov in 2019 amounted to about 8.5 million rubles. During this period, his wife earned more than 353 thousand rubles. She also owns a Skoda Superb car, and the minister himself does not have personal vehicles declared. The income of the Minister of Natural Resources and Environment of the Russian Federation Dmitry Kobylkin in 2019 decreased by 4.6 times compared to 2018.
