The Ministry of Health has published this Thursday the update of the figures of infections, hospitalizations and deaths from coronavirus in Spain and, with respect to yesterday’s report, the total number of people infected by COVID-19 It has increased by 31,171, so that the national total of infected already rises to 4,280,429 people since the start of the pandemic.
The report also reflects 27 new deaths from COVID-19 with respect to this Wednesday’s data, which brings the official death toll since the beginning of the pandemic to 81,221.
Regarding the accumulated incidence at the national level, the figure has increased 18.59 points in the last 24 hours to stand at 677.67 cases per 100,000 inhabitants in the last 14 days.
64.3% have at least one dose
According to the latest report from vaccination published by Health, the autonomous communities have administered until this Thursday a total of 53,449,255 doses of the vaccines against COVID-19 of Pfizer-BioNTech, Modern, AstraZeneca Y Janssen, 569,988 of them in the last 24 hours.
In addition, this Friday, Spain has exceeded two figures indicated in the vaccination process: a total of 25,398,978 people have already received the full schedule (53.5% of the population) and 30,500,003 people have received at least one dose ( 64.3% of the population).
In total, in Spain 37.67 million doses of Pfizer, 9.3 of AstraZeneca, 5.3 of Moderna and 1.7 of Janssen have been administered, the latter being the only one with which the complete regimen is acquired with a single dose.
Age group immunity
All those over 80 years of age have been immunized since the end of May, while 97.9% of citizens aged 70 to 79 have received the complete guideline; 85.4% of those aged 60 to 69, 86.9% of those aged 50 to 59, 70.2% of those aged 40 to 49, 26.8% of those aged 30 to 39 years; 14.2% of those from 20 to 29; and 1.6% of those between 12 and 19 years old.
