It was the only department still above the alert threshold defined by the government, set at 50 new cases of Covid-19 per 100,000 inhabitants. But this rate continued to decrease, and the Loire to fall again below this threshold (44.9 / 100,000 on June 15).
In Haute-Loire too, the epidemic situation is improving, with an incidence rate of 30.4 / 100,000 inhabitants on June 15 as well. The threshold of 100,000 first-time vaccinated against the coronavirus has also been crossed, said the prefecture of the department on Friday.
