The incidence of Covid-19 cases in people over 60 years of age has risen slightly in Cantabria this Wednesday, in which those hospitalized for the coronavirus have been reduced to ten.
According to the latest data from the Cantabrian Health Service (SCS), corresponding to the end of the 8th, seven new cases of coronavirus have been detected among people over 60 years of age –the only age group for which community transmission data is offered– , which are one less than in the previous day.
In this way, in the last seven days, 46 coronavirus positives have been confirmed in people over 60 years of age, which amount to 77 to 14 days.
The accumulated incidence for 14 days has grown to 44 cases per 100,000 inhabitants, three more than the day before, and the accumulated incidence for seven days has risen to 26, one more than Tuesday. Both parameters are at controlled risk, like Cantabria as a whole.
As for those hospitalized, this Wednesday there are 10, three less than the previous day, with which hospital occupancy has dropped two tenths, to 0.6%, and one is still admitted to the Intensive Care Unit (ICU), which It has an occupancy rate of 0.8%.
Of the total hospitalized, six are in the Marqus de Valdecilla University Hospital, including the ICU; three in Laredo, and one in Tres Mares de Reinosa.
Cantabria has not added any new deaths from Covid-19 in the last few hours, so they have remained at 1,019 since the start of the pandemic.
