The incidence in the Darmstadt-Dieburg district is falling again

363 people in the district are currently infected with the corona virus. Among them are residents of a collective accommodation for refugees – this is now under quarantine.

DARMSTADT-DIEBURG – 363 people in the district are currently infected with the corona virus. That comes out from the numbers that the health department announced on Thursday. The authorities reported 35 newly infected people, reducing the seven-day incidence to 62.

In the meantime, the health department has quarantined a collective accommodation for refugees in Groß-Umstadt. In the middle of the week, two of the 60 residents tested positive. A series test is planned for Friday, February 19.

Since the beginning of the pandemic, 7484 district residents have been infected with the virus. 245 of them have died after the Amt announced three new deaths. 6,876 people are now considered cured. 15 of those infected are currently being cared for in the two district clinics. In Groß-Umstadt there are two corona patients in the normal ward. In Jugenheim, 13 people are cared for in the center for acute and post-acute intensive care medicine.
