He added that the elderly are among the most groups that suffer from vitamin D deficiency in the body, followed by children, people with digestive problems, and kidney patients.
He pointed out that it is easy to detect a vitamin D deficiency in the body before conducting the analysis through the following symptoms:

Shaaban stressed that high levels of vitamin D in the body are no less dangerous than its deficiency, adding that an excess of vitamin D in the normal levels threatens the body with serious consequences, such as calcium deposition in the heart and blood vessels.
He concluded his speech by explaining that vitamin D is naturally available in many foods, such as dairy products, eggs and fish, and it can also be obtained by exposure to sunlight and taking nutritional supplements under the supervision of a doctor.
