After the pandemic, people have become more aware of the importance of getting vaccinated and more people are going to do so
Vaccination is a measure that has been shown for centuries to be useful in reducing the impact of diseases among the population. An example of this is what happened after the Covid-19 pandemic, where a significant decrease in deaths was detected after many people were immunized, that is why a call is made to people to participate in the campaign that aims to apply 90 thousand doses of vaccine in Soledad during this winter season.
This is what Flor Lilian Estrada Martínez, Head of the Health Jurisdiction, said. 1, of the Health Services in the State, who indicated the current campaign begins in this month of October and will conclude in the month of March, in which first priority will be given to the people who make up the vulnerable groups, who are under the age of five years old, older adults, as well as those who suffer from diseases such as obesity, hypertension, diabetes, among others.
“The greatest achievement of these vaccination campaigns is that people become aware of the importance of doing it, because it has been proven that there is a big difference between doing it and not doing it, we invite them to do it, because although they will not prevent get sick, if it is a fact that the illness will be less serious,” he said in an interview.
Where he mentioned that for this year, the vaccine will be applied in the facilities of the different health centers in the metropolitan area of the capital, where people who want to get the influenza vaccine will be served and remembering that the campaign to vaccinate against Covid-19 will also begin shortly.
