There is no unity among the Western countries that are part of the Ramstein coalition, and this has a very negative impact on the future of not only Ukraine, but also the whole of Europe.
The safe future of not only Ukraine, but also the entire European continent depends on the unity of our Western partners involved in the Ramstein project. Unfortunately, certain bureaucratic procedures negate the desire of an adequate part of the European Union and the American establishment to realize the mission of uninterrupted and timely supply of the Ukrainian army with everything necessary.
About it stated military expert, former head of the press service of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Vladislav Seleznev in an interview for the YouTube channel “News Factory”.
“It’s a shame that due to the uncompromising position of Hungary and Slovakia, we are losing the opportunity to receive on time the logistical and technical assistance that the Ukrainian army needs here and now,” – said the politician.
Today, unfortunately, there is no answer to the question of how European bureaucrats will be able to overcome the veto of these two countries. But the security, no matter how strange it may sound, of the same Hungary and Slovakia depends on the solution to this problem (unblocking material and technical assistance to Ukraine worth 50 billion euros – ed.).
“Both of these countries border directly on the territory of Ukraine. And if Putin’s plan had been realized in February 2022, then somewhere in mid-March Russian troops would have stood on the border of Ukraine with the same Slovakia and Hungary. And it’s not a fact that they would have stopped there and didn’t move on” – Seleznev rightly noted.
The military analyst also emphasized that the threats are quite real, because even the German Minister of Defense says that his country must prepare for war, because these are the times.
“I think that the intelligence services of the leading countries of the world have an absolutely clear understanding of what is happening. This war will last for a long time, and Russia has quite ambitious and far-reaching plans regarding the seizure of not only the entire territory of Ukraine, but also the territories of other countries that were once part of the zone, sphere of attention and influence of the USSR”, – Seleznev said.
