Actress Shams Al-Kuwaiti stated that it is impolite for people to enter the house wearing shoes, and stressed that this is an unacceptable act.

She added that she studied in Japan and did not find anyone entering the house wearing shoes, and the Bedouins to whom she belongs find that this is not right.

Shams justified her point of view by saying that the shoes we walk in the street carry all the dirt from outside, and then we come and bring this dirt into the house.
